Who is responsible?

Gabriel-Sandap Meutey, publisher of the MEUGS portfolio, is responsible for processing messages sent through meugs.dev. You can contact him, including about your privacy rights, through the portfolio contact form.

What is collected?

• The name, email address and message you choose to send.
• A temporary, pseudonymised technical fingerprint derived from the IP address, used only to limit abusive submissions.
• Technical hosting and email-delivery logs generated by the service providers.

Please do not include sensitive or unnecessary personal information in your message.

Why and on what basis?

Your message is used to answer your request and, where relevant, prepare a possible collaboration. This processing is based on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and on the legitimate interest in managing incoming requests. Form protection is based on the legitimate interest in securing the website.

Your information is not used for newsletters, advertising or automated decision-making.

Who receives the data?

Gabriel is the only person who reads the messages. Vercel hosts the website, Resend delivers the email and Google provides the private recipient mailbox. These providers process the message, its metadata and the technical data needed to provide their services. Data is never sold.

How long is it kept?

• Messages that do not lead to a collaboration: up to 12 months after the last exchange.
• If a collaboration begins: the information required for the relationship is moved to the client file and kept for the applicable contractual, accounting and legal periods.
• Resend delivery data: 30 days under its current standard retention policy.
• The pseudonymised anti-abuse fingerprint: a 10-minute rolling window in volatile server memory.

International transfers

Vercel, Resend and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. Vercel and Resend provide contractual data-processing safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required. The recipient mailbox is governed by Google’s applicable privacy terms.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, deletion or restriction of your data and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also withdraw your request at any time. Use the contact form and mention “Privacy” so the request can be identified quickly. A reply will be provided within one month, except where the law permits an extension.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may contact the French data protection authority (CNIL).

Cookies and external links

The portfolio does not currently set advertising, social-media or audience-measurement cookies. A consent banner is therefore not displayed. GitHub and TikTok receive information only when you choose to follow their external links; their own privacy policies then apply.
